My buddy Dave's wife just picked up her new Spider today. Has every avail option ~$33k. Other than the HUGE wheel gap, it's not a bad looking car in person. Haven't driven or ridden in it yet, but she really seems to like it. Coming from a '99 RX300, I'm sure it's quite different. She's already picked out a plate "GOT SUN".

er..is it fast?

I think it has 268 hp and a 3.8L V6. It can probably rip off 6 second 0-60's.

I was pretty surprised to see 18" wheels and I'm definately not a big fan of the front lip, but overall it's not too bad (for a chick's car).

Yuck! That car doesn't look good from any angle. What a downgrade from the RX.

i'm not digging the jelly bean look. I think the car is pretty porky, should be considered slow in comparison to other cars in its class

Mitsu pretty much ruined the Eclipse when they ditched the 4G63T(inline 4 turbo) engines....altho alot of people riced out their eclipses(thanks to TFTF), these cars had sooo much more potential than the 00 and up Eclipses.

I don't like the new styling at all. What the hell is up with the big ass front triangle window. Looks horrible. The older GSX sure did have a shit load of potential.
