America’s home-buying season, when for-sale signs sprout like dandelions, is shaping up to be even worse than expected this year, with prices falling, sales slowing and few signs of a turnaround emerging.

Two reports released Tuesday captured the bleak picture. One showed that home prices nationally fell 14.4 percent in March from a year earlier. The other showed sales of new homes, although up slightly in April, remained mired near their lowest levels since 1991.

Early reports have shown that Santee will not be affected

Santee is the new Madison Ave.

Who to trust:

1. Steveo from California link to a NY Times article

2. Actual sell through data

Hmmmm...

If any of you cocksuckers had the reading comprehension beyond that of a 2 year old, you'd see that nowhere did I say "santee isn't affected". I've said that the REALITY is not as bad as doom and gloom articles in the media that use "predictions from experts" over actual data. Continue being faggots though, the good news is your doom and gloom won't affect me unless it persists through 2015 or so when I'll most likely be on the move again.

I find it odd that none of the doom and gloom people have purchased a home yet... still waiting for them to hit $75,000?

Oh I forgot: Fuck you Steve

I owned my own townhome in RB from 96-99. I'm sorry if I don't own one right now. Does that disqualify me from posting here ?

No.

However it doesn't qualify you for bashing my house that you've never been to.

Jesus, can you not take a joke today ?

I can make fun of Santee because I've done plenty of work in that area.

Would it be fair if I judged the entire City of Escondido ( which has many multi million dollar homes and nice areas ) if I did some work downtown by Escondido Transit Center?

Same with Temecula. Slums to multi million dollar ranch homes.

You can say what you want about Escondido. You would probably be 90% right. But I wouldn't care . Where I live we have no rednecks, or black/mexican trash. It's a very safe family friendly neighborhood. Same goes for the area I plan to live in, in Temecula. I'm not offended or bothered by someone making fum of where I live. You on the other hand get all spun out of shape. You need to chill out. Steve was just pushing your buttons. Santee is full of rednecks and tweakers as is most of the east County. That being said, I'm sure you live in a quiet area that's not like that. I have a couple of classmates that live in Carlton Hills area and they like it.

I was playing off the fact that you always refute housing data that doesn't come from Sandicor, don't be mad.

BTW news comes out earlier on the east coast. The report also states that home prices fell 14.1 nationally

SANDICOR MLS - Sandicor is owned by five Associations of REALTORS® serving San Diego County. They are: Coronado Association of REALTORS®, East San Diego County Association of REALTORS®, North San Diego County Association of REALTORS®, Pacific Southwest Association of REALTORS® and the San Diego Association of REALTORS. Sandicor is the 16th largest MLS system in the United States with more than 16,000 members.

According to what I've seen on CNN and Fox finance, the only area in the country not affected by the real estate crunch is Manhattan.

Statements like that show you know nothing of East County. "MOST OF"? Santee's median household income is 7th highest of 25 cities in the county. Tweakers and rednecks typically don't have high incomes. It also has the 3rd lowest crime rate per capita in San Diego county, beaten only by Del Mar and La Jolla. Tweakers and rednecks are usually criminals that get busted, fucking up such statistics. The fact is, Santee is a community built mostly of law enforcement officers and senior military. If I see a bro on my way home, I'll automatically multiply him by 59,000 ( Santee's population ) and say the city is full of rednecks.

I refute fortune telling. These doom and gloom people aren't using facts in most cases. Fuck Sandicor, it doesn't have to come from them. Facts are facts. They use them. You don't believe their verifiable through the county title office facts since realtors own them. I guess it's impossible to have a debate with you since facts mean nothing to you.

So it's either "hellhole of death, rednecks, and destruction", or "heaven on earth".

I guess I'm done too.

Yes Chris. We are always wrong and your facts and figures are always right. You seem to have small home complex. That's like small p3nor but different.

EvilC

Yeah, that must be it.

My facts and figures are usually from places like the US Census, FBI crime statistics, etc. Yours are from the liberal newspaper, the NY Times.

It's hilarious how hard you'll bash my home without having ever been there.

It is FTL. It's probably the worst newspaper in the United States. If you're into Obama and Clinton, then it's definitely your paper.

But you're a faggot so that doesn't count. :homo:

When I first moved to Temecula, before Chris was on SCS, everyone would crack jokes about the area. They even named it KenTuckula, and temeketucky . I didn't give a shit. I laughed along with it and found it amusing. Seriously Chris, you need to grow up.

Excuse me, I don't get all itchy because someone talks about where I live. What are you 13 ? Are you some gangbanger who won't let people "diss" his hood ? Then you go make a ridiculous leap, saying that "insulting your wife is next " ? Seriously, you think anyone here would do that ? If you do, I would suggest you leave the internet .
