When COD4 first came out it wasn't too pleasent to play online because you always got kicked off etc. After a month, they seemed to have worked the kinks out and now it's smooth. I haven't gotten to the point where I want to play GTA4 online yet. I bought Mario kart for WII and I had a heck of a time trying to stay online. The WII network kept kicking me off every 4 races or so.
