01yellerCobra 08-06-2006, 10:20 AM I've been planning on getting a pair of headers to help with my scraping problem. I was going to the Bassani mid lengths for anyone that's wondering. However, I got under the car yesterday and was able to do some adjusting and now I don't scrape. So I really don't have a need for the headers. Should I still get them or should I stash the money and save for bigger things?
roorstiles 08-06-2006, 12:14 PM Bassani Mid-lenghts are sweet! Pricey, but you'll love them. Also, if you do, don't buy the ceramic coated because you can get them coated @ Olympic coatings in Escondido for way less!
dmark101 08-06-2006, 01:08 PM do it! do it now!

Is it possible to get them uncoated? All the ones I've seen for the Cobras are coated I think.
SanDiego01Snake 08-06-2006, 01:35 PM dont spend the money on them, get a blower instead.
01trublue cobra 08-06-2006, 02:39 PM The blower will be blowing through a straw with the stock manifolds. Go with the Midlengths or SLP long tube headers.

That's a big price difference. I say go for the headers for now.
01yellerCobra 08-06-2006, 04:04 PM Wow, Tracy just told me I should get them.
SanDiego01Snake 08-06-2006, 04:11 PM more hp from a blower
blower > mids :D
01yellerCobra 08-06-2006, 04:18 PM Cost of blower > cost of mids

Well there's your answer right there!
Kloogy 08-06-2006, 05:31 PM Considering it will help you once you get the blower, I would say yes Bob. :D
SanDiego01Snake 08-06-2006, 06:57 PM save your cash money, and if you register your car in AZ, just do long tubes.
in the meantime, get a blower.

But then he'd have scraping problems again.
SanDiego01Snake 08-06-2006, 07:22 PM nah theres plenty of room if you do it right. :)
Jon Burgundy 08-06-2006, 07:24 PM huhhhuhuhuh you said "do it"
01trublue cobra 08-07-2006, 08:09 AM If you have the 5 - piece Bassani X-pipe, then go with the Midlengths. The midlengths come with the shorter arms for the X-Pipe.
