Let alone the fact that the damn thing makes more noise than a diesel motor when you are using it. Most good game titles coming out now are available on BOTH platforms. Go look at any credible forum and see how many people have had to return their defective 360's. A superior product doesn't have that kind of failure rate. Like I said, I bought the xbox to play video games. It has a ton of them. Sony was more interested in securing the BR format in consumer's hands than coercing game makers to develop for the box.
When the PS3 has an exclusing title that is worth paying $500 to play, then I'll consider it. According to this list (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_PlayStation_3_games), it's going to be a while unless "Buzz! Quiz TV" turns out to be a smash. Until then, I'll just wait for the price to come down.

BTW fuck wireless. A max strength 802.11A/B/G connection provides roughly 22Mbps of actual throughput, and is on a contention network. A WAP is a big hub. With broadband burst speeds exceeding that, I keep my stuff wired.

My personal opinion is that the 73 inch Mitsu Dlp is one of the best pictures I've seen. My 46 inch Sony Bravia is excellent too.

Nov 2005 launch box here. Not a single issue ever. Yeah, a lot fail, but the rate is not as high as you think. I don't see 10 million individual posters bitching about it.

I've read on endless forums about them failing. There were people crapping their pants about them failing the first week they were out. They even have threades dedicated on what to do if your RedLight360 fails on major gaming forums. It's not an isolated incident. Enjoy your console. I have one too that collects dust very well.
