This company did a test with their cutting edge textures... here is a screenshot of the page... on the right side you can see the load times of the textures for the PS3, PC, and 360.

PS3 wins by a mile.

Now they need to make some games that make use of this platform !

Look up the game BackBreaker, it's aiming to be the first next-gen football game, with great AI and tackling system. Too bad they can't use real players. The game originally was started by a group of scientists trying to develop more natural movement in games, or something like that.
