Home Prices Go Down In San Diego

SAN DIEGO -- Home prices in San Diego were down nearly 10 percent in November, according to DataQuick Information Systems.

Analysts said depressed market prices, the sale of foreclosed properties and the first-time buyers market are reasons for the lower prices.

So, is now the time to buy, or are prices still going to plummet?

I would assume they will still go down, as people are still coming up on that rate adjust period, correct? I am about to re-sign my lease with the goal of buying something after this lease is up.

If prices are still coming down for a year, I'll be golden when it is time to renew next year. Buh Bye Apts, hello mortgage.

2008 will be a year of declines, if not well into 2009.

Go month to month if you can to give you some flexibility, or better yet, get a roomie or rent a room for $400. Rent in MV is way too high for what you receive in return.
