But if she's into cars and appreciates what you got then she's in. :stang: besthaticouldo 08-04-2006, 07:27 PM ok this section of this thread is gonna turn terrible. but its gonna be so fun. imports pwn the world. http://static.flickr.com/36/98936621_3884b1e5cf.jpg that car is absolutely the nicest car on the planet. there is nothing sexier then that vehicle. it would be a great daily driver or something just to have fun with on weekends. 0-60 in 4.8 seconds, its not the fastest car, but show me a faster car that looks that good. 200+ mph thats good enough for me. that is the perfect car. IMO. ha. i love both domestic and import cars, but imports are better at making power off less displacement. SanDiego01Snake 08-04-2006, 08:22 PM i drive an import and a domestic. the import gets killer mileage, the domestic is faster than any import on this board. one gets me poon, the other gets me lower fuel bills. :) besthaticouldo 08-04-2006, 08:28 PM what import do you drive? A Maxima or a Mustang? geez...I can bet what 80% of the world would rather have. :hoon: Maxima is a family sedan that is meant for decent mileage and decent comfort for the price. Blue3vGT 08-08-2006, 04:24 PM Stangs are boring cars?? Boy, do I disagree on that one. 05 + Mustang GT is far better looking then an 05 + Maxima. You would have to be blind not to see that. When looking for a good car, Japanese and European automakers have a much better selection. What's your excuse? There are haters in every camp. Modified civic drivers are in a class of their own. Those morons do think that they can smoke everyone, with a cold air intake and no hubcaps. Blue3vGT 08-08-2006, 05:26 PM I drive my car, in comfort, 70 miles round trip M-F. It has great A/C, Shaker 1000 great audio, a nice easy clutch, good ride and decent gas mileage. What does a Maxima, Civic, G35, 350Z, etc., etc., have over my car? IRS? Ok, but that's not justified for a Mustang Better Interior? Maybe a little, but not a huge amount and that isn't a huge thing for me anyway. Gas mileage? Ok, you win here, but I wouldn't have gotten a Mustang if I needed better gas mileage. My 92 has 297k on it and I saw redlines every shift, just about. I must say, it has held up great, the interior is still like new, except a few tears in the leather, that car doesnt even rattle. Why are you being so nice??? dmontzsta 08-08-2006, 06:11 PM Damnit!! Why are you being so nice??? He is trying to kill us with kindness. Why are you being so nice??? well i figure if i replied back with all the things i wanted to say without thinking twice about it(like a few people on the forums), it'd bring nothing but more heated debate. Let's move oh, eh? :) Blue3vGT 08-08-2006, 06:13 PM Debates are more fun then moving on. IMO. BLITZ35 08-08-2006, 06:13 PM Debates are more fun then moving on. End of story SanDiego01Snake 08-08-2006, 06:19 PM imports are better than the z06. they can take it in the twisties, have better interiors, and are made by better human beings. Your sarcasm is appreciated, and your correct on all 3 points. European cars are imports too, and many will leave the Z06 in the gutter. However, i must admit the Z06 is an awesome car, and is a great value. I think you're seeing import drivers as "domestic haters", when really it's only certain vehicles that are disliked. There are some good cars being made in America, but unfortunately they are few and far betweem. SanDiego01Snake 08-08-2006, 07:04 PM the only one that will leave the z06 in the gutter is the ferrari F430. :) TopElement 08-08-2006, 07:12 PM the only one that will leave the z06 in the gutter is the ferrari F430. :) Among many others, and they look better doing it too. This discussion is hopeles... SanDiego01Snake 08-08-2006, 07:23 PM which others? not porsche..not lambo..not bentley..not RR..not jaguar..not MB..not BMW..the Z06 outperforms all of those cars. Blue3vGT 08-08-2006, 07:40 PM I'd like to take a shower! BLITZ35 08-08-2006, 07:48 PM which others? not porsche..not lambo..not bentley..not RR..not jaguar..not MB..not BMW..the Z06 outperforms all of those cars. well....obviously price is not an issue here...just brute power comparison. Corvette Z06: 0-60 in 4.2sec 1/4mile in 12.3sec@116.6mph and pulled .98g Porsche Carrera GT: 3.7sec/ 11.3sec@131.6mph and pulled .99g Ferrari Enzo: 3.3sec/ 11.1sec@133.0mph and pulled 1.01g Lambo Murcielago: 3.6sec/ 12.0sec@121.0mph and pulled .90(bah!) Interesting piece: A Mercedes Benz E55 AMG: 4.2sec 0-60mph and 12.4sec@116.4mph :shck: Definitely not faster than Z06 and only pulled .84g but still, it's amazing feat considering this car has....well....everything. SanDiego01Snake 08-08-2006, 07:52 PM well if you want to do that, add the ford GT in, ran an 11.xx 1/4 mile and hustled to 60 in 3.something... TopElement 08-08-2006, 08:01 PM well if you want to do that, add the ford GT in, ran an 11.xx 1/4 mile and hustled to 60 in 3.something... Yes, and along with the S7, are some of the few good American cars. ExileFntMan 08-08-2006, 08:30 PM  new ferrani fioano runs 0-60 in 3.6 seconds, 0-120 in just over 10.00. looks heeps better then anything american made. and has a way nicer interior. dmontzsta 08-08-2006, 08:32 PM I dont think Ferraris or Lambos should even be classified as "imports" which falls under the same category as civics. The same way a GT shouldnt be a "domestic". They are all "SUPER CARS". Kloogy 08-08-2006, 09:37 PM I would consider those exotics, but they are technically imports. Larrio 08-08-2006, 09:55 PM Its funny how you say all import drivers hate domestics when i'm here thinking the exact opposite also. Everyone's so quick to throw out negative comments like rice boy and whiney lil girls, etc. I appreciate all types of cars and i'm selective in my approach. And in no way am I stupid enough to compare a family sedan to a 300+hp Stang and say its better. Maybe if we all just learned something about the other side from this and stopped hacking each other to pieces things would be better off.... nah, guess not. dmontzsta 08-08-2006, 09:56 PM Its funny how you say all import drivers are hate domestics when i'm here thinking the exact opposite also. GreenNOS 08-14-2006, 11:45 PM ok so for mpg yes it does bite the bullet. but then if its mpg you want, then go bye a diesel rabbit from back in the day. my sisters old one got like 75 mpg. until it took a shit and fell over dieing. is this better? better mpg, and one sexy car. but better in blue i think. http://joshinweb.jp/emall/img/sm/JSN_C00001/middle/49/50344/4950344583645.jpg midnite 08-14-2006, 11:52 PM Derek, i think this car has your vanquish sucking cock! http://www.edmunds.com/media/il/features/driving/06.bugatti.veyron/bugatti.veyron.340.jpg Koenigsegg CCX > Veyron GreenNOS 08-14-2006, 11:59 PM Koenigsegg CCX > Veyron only in theory, that car has never really gone that fast. to unstable at that high of speed. so the Veyron is still the fastest car. no test driver has the balls to take the koenigsegg that fast. but i will say that the Koenigsegg is one hot car. P.S. the Veyron only goes 252.3 mph, because engineers had to lower the top speed of the car. The chassis and drive train do not allow the car to go any faster. Blue3vGT 08-15-2006, 09:49 AM ok but is the veyron nice enough or practical enough to drive every day. i would spend over a 1000 a week on gas for that pos. i hate that car, yes its a marvel in automotive technology, but it is hideous and its still a volkswagen. Actually, I recall reading a test in one of my Road & Track's where they said that yes, it is comfortable enough to drive on a daily basis. However, it does weigh 4000 pounds. That said, it is not too bad for a 16 cylinder car.
