My Sprint/Nextel plan ends on the 9th and I'm searching for a good phone from Verizon Wireless. As I am an employee of Verizon, I get 20% off the phone & plan as well as 25% off accessories. I've already got the plan picked out of 900 anytime minutes @ $47.99/month, but am not sure which phone to go with. I don't really need anything crazy like a BlackBerry or anything like that, but would like something with a bit more options than my current Nextel i710. I like the LG VX8300, but would like some more input from those that are under Verizon's plan.

the LG VX8300 is a good phone. im getting the samsung 930a which is sopposed to be good too

never have seen the 8300... i have the 8000 and its ok.

I just hate VZW using their crappy (red) firmware on all phones, short of the ppc/palm line.

What about the choclate LG phone on the way? seems pretty cool.

i have the samsung a950 or whatever, its good

samsungs tend to lack t9 learning, even their newest models.

i use t9 always, so i'd miss that feature

With the discount I get through work, kinda hard to pass up and stick with Nextel.

I might start rooting for Notre Dame....can't pass up that deal.

i have a motorola v325 and its alright, gotta make sure they update the software on it.
