I'm not going to jump on and drive it in , because my dad is a big Mets fan. I just have one thing to say. Your best , highest paid player should not end game 7 with his bat on his shoulder on a handfull of pitches. Reminds me of that piece of garbage we have called GayFraud. Jose Valentin also stunk up the joint. That's a heart breaking loss.

I guess i feel better about the Pads losing to the cards. I totally thought the Mets would have steamrolled the cardinals

I think the padre pitching staff could've given the Mets problems, but their offense is FTL.

meh, i am honestly heartbroken right now. the Mets played a great series but just could not get it done. I agree with G 100% in that Beltran should have taken a fucking swing at the ball, especially since he saw the pitcher throw that curveball a few times already. overall, congrats to the Cards, great series. they played some good ball and got the hits when they needed to.

No shame in being heart broken. Sports will do that to you. If you sign up in life for being a fan of a team, get ready for it. I just think when your star player is up to bat, bases loaded in game 7, I want to see more than him sipping on a cup of coffee watching pitches go by. That why I detest losers like GayFraud Rodriguez.

What sucks worst is that guy (don't know his name) who made that AWESOME catch to save a home run. I thought the Mets had it in the bag after that.

after that catch I expected the Mets to take advantage of the momentum and fan energy, and go nuts. they had their chances and just didn't get it done. I tip my cap to the Cardinals, Suppan was lights out.

Jose Valentin killed the momentum. That catch has to go down as one of the best behind Kirby Puckets
